Strictly speaking es design is not an antique shop.  It is a design store with a twist that I really like.   This Wellington shop specialises in bringing 1950s, 60s, and 70s retro furniture to life.  If you are retro collector, you will love this shop.

What’s Inside:

es design starts with retro chairs and sofas and re-upholsters them with fabrics of today which results in some really fabulous furniture.  They also offer some retro tables, ceramics and glass and of course a large selection of new designer items.

Location Tips:

es design is located on the corner of Ghuznee and Marion Streets just off Taranaki Street in central Wellington next to Abel Traders.

Parking:

Metered street parking is available but can be hard to come by.
